While it was very likely The Uttermost West -- aka Valinor -- did not experience winter as we think of it, they also certainly knew about snow, it being the product of the songs of Manwë and Ulmo, altered by the cold of Melkor. Many of the names of Taniquetil -- Oiolossë, the White Mountain, Amon Uilos -- refer to the fact that its summit was always white with snow, and gleamed brightly from afar. So as my tribute to the winter and holiday season, I plan to present new skins, objects, and other thematic items for the most notable residents of "Mount Everwhite," Manwë and Varda, beginning with winter clothing (designated as both regular clothing and buyable for those with Vacation). Look for continued (if sporadic) updates throughout the season.
