Varda Elentári

with crown and comb

without crown or comb
This was what I had been working on when my Muse decided to go off and create Elenwë. The gown is a version of the same mesh (though not precisely the same), and while the head is the same mesh as the earlier version of Varda I had posted, this version of the head has "stay-put" hair and a slightly different shape to the face. The gown is obviously not the same as the old version, but the head is only subtly so; the revision is primarily in the expression and refining the features, especially the mouth and ears. The comb at the back of the head is the same comb as before, but has been retextured to have a more obviously silver appearance, and the circlet with the stars and gold loops is new. As with Elenwë, the "stay-put" nature of the hair will distort the thumbnails in the game (but not the active Sim herself); in this case, it lifts up the lower portions of the hair and does not appear to obscure the face. In some thumbnails, you can't even see the distortion. The accessories are, as usual, attached to the body mesh rather than the head, so if you prefer the old head and the all-in-one movement of the hair and head (that version and the old body is still available below), you can use the new body and its attached accessories with the old head. You can let the "vardacrown" files overwrite; all it will change is the silver texture, from the flat gray it had before to the silver in these pictures
The original version is posted below, on the right.
