TO USE AS NPCs:
Requires the free NPC Replacer program from Paladin's (see links page).  They will NOT replace the NPCs without it, and they WILL replace the NPCs for ALL neighborhoods.  The skins and meshes can also be used for regular Sims.

The Fisherman
Can be used to replace rental shack NPCs in Downtown or Vacation; can be used to replace "shark" NPC mascot in Vacation. My preference is for replacing the Rental Shack guy in Vacation, since there are some water-related connections in two out of the three area types, and I'd rather get rid of the mascots completely.

I made The Fisherman as my Sim tribute to my late father, who would have been 84 today. Dad enjoyed fishing (usually with rod and reel) and taught all of us kids how to fish; many of my childhood memories of vacations and Sunday picnics involved fishing in one way or another, a peaceful and pleasant pastime that also put food on the table for our large family. My Sim Fisherman is not a literal representation of Dad in a Tolkienesque setting (it would creep me out terribly to look at a Sim in the game who bore too strong a resemblance to my father!). But I did give him Dad's blue eyes, as well as the brown-blond hair Dad had in his youth. And yes, Dad was a hottie in his youth. I have at least one photo of him as a lifeguard to prove it.
