Okay, I know I said I was going to do Gil-galad next, but after giving Varda such a spiffy new dress, I couldn't let poor Manwë be neglected (especially not in the "couples" shot that disappeared when I revised Varda).  The challenge in this instance was to get something that would look appropriate next to Varda and still be suitable for the king of the Valar.  In this attempt, a number of things were simplified:  now instead of having a head mesh with a separate beard mesh, Manwë has both in a single mesh (the crown is still separate and associated with the body, and the head skin has been changed slightly). The body is no longer a body, belt, buckle, cloak, and scepter; the belt and buckle are integrated into the body mesh.  The cloak and scepter are separate accessories that like the crown will drop when Manwë changes clothes, although the cloak is now a bit more elaborate with the over-the-shoulders section and a clasp.  The scepter is the same mesh as before, but the skin for it is new.  If you download the versions with the accessories, you can let those meshes and their skins overwrite the originals for the crown and scepter; they're exactly the same in terms of how they work with the body.  This body mesh has slightly broader shoulders than the previous version, something I did after seeing Manwë in my game standing next to his brother Melkor.  Talk about the classic ninety-eight pound weakling...!

The head mesh is different only in that the beard was integrated into it, and the texture mapping was altered slightly to suit the changes in the skin.  It does NOT have "stay-put" hair.  I'm considering doing a version that will have the stay-put effect for the hair at the back of his head, but not for the beard.  Although I can deal with watching a Sim turn his or her head and have a braid or long hair stay stuck to their back, it makes me wince to watch a beard remain glued in place (which is why I don't use that version of Gandalf the Grey in my game).  I also wanted the design at the front neckine to be visible when he turns his head, which can't happen if the beard is glued in place.

This was made as a gift for a friend, who wanted a "younger" version of the character in her game.
