Irmo Formal
Irmo Head  (stay-put mesh)

Estë Formal
Estë Head (stay-put mesh)

After doing these two, I've come to the conclusion that gray simply isn't a color easy to use in formal wear.  Silver, yes.  Gray... well.  Interesting enough, but one begins to long for a bigger palette rather quickly.  To try to get a sense of a generalized "Valinorean style" so that there will be some sense of a community possible if you have all these Sims hanging out together, I've again used elements not only from the characters' everyday outfits, but also from the other formal clothing I've designed for the other Valar.  While Irmo's outfit uses brocade and corded trim, Estë's uses fine lace overlaying moire silk fabric texture.  The jewelry on both -- Irmo's shoulder pin, pendant, and belt clasps, the trim on Estë's skirt and cuffs, along with her choker necklace and earrings -- use pearls, ranging from near white to a darker silver-gray.  Estë's earrings also have opal drops, and her slippers are completely overlaid with embroidered pearls.  Too bad you can't see that degree of detail in the game!

As for the new heads, Irmo's is just the new stay-put head mesh without the circlet (that's part of the body mesh), and the skin is the same skin as was used in the original version of the head.  Although the skin for Estë's face and hair is the same as before, the mesh does not include the circlet (again, part of the formal wear body), but it DOES include both the hair clasps (which have a new design on them) and the earrings.  Unfortunately, because the hair is long and falls forward over the right shoulder rather than the left (as it did in the original head), there is going to be considerable thumbnail distortion in the game.  Sorry about that, but after discussing this matter with other meshmakers, I've concluded that one has to decide which they prefer, clean thumnails that make the hair look and act stiff as a board, or hair that lays relatively naturally but makes a mess of the thumbnail.  A limitation of the game, alas, that apparently cannot be overcome fully.
