Éomer Éadig
As portrayed by Karl Urban
Son of Éomund, Eighteenth King of Rohan

This represents something of a departure for me: only part of a Sim rather than the whole thing. I've been working on the head mesh and skin for Éomer for quite a while, and before the head mesh was finished, I had done a helmet for Una at Comhair (who made the body mesh and clothing skin you see in these pictures; neither are included, but the link to Comhair is on the links page -- and thanks, Una!). But for some reason, the Muse simply refused to come up with a body for him, and now I realize why: I've done rather a lot of people in armor of some type, and I happened to notice today that in the movie, poor Éomer never really gets an outfit that isn't somehow armor. Not even at Aragorn's coronation; he's dressed like a warrior, not a king in his own right. So while the Muse contemplates designing a NON-armor outfit for the dashing Éomer, I decided to make the head mesh and skin available (since I was aware that there were people looking for a mesh of this type that wasn't on a pay site, and the helmet was really made to go specifically with this head). Unfortunately, because there's no body mesh to associate it with at the moment, the "with helmet" head will have him wearing it all the time, unless you use an external program like Sim Enhancer to change it. If it's suitable for him to wear it with whatever body design I eventually make, I'll post the altered version so that he'll be able to change in and out of it in the game. Once again, this is a "stay-put" mesh; it does mess up the pie-menu thumbnail more extremely than I'd thought it would (worse than some of the very long-haired meshes I've made), but it doesn't obscure the face, so the main character thumbnail is fine, and the active Sim looks perfectly normal.
