ImageElwing
Daughter of Dior and Nimloth, granddaughter of Beren and Lúthien,
heir of the Silmaril, wife of Eärendil, mother of Elrond and Elros

There were two reasons I came up with this Sim now:  I'd already made Eärendil, and it had always been my intent to make his spouse as well; and I happen to be in the midst of composing my eighth symphony, which was inspired by the story of Eärendil -- and naturally, Elwing is a part of that musical story (the composing is why I haven't had a lot of updates lately; it does take quite a bit of concentration and time).

To the best of my knowledge, there is no specific description of Elwing given.  She was called "Elwing the White," but I tend to suspect that might be because she possessed the Silmaril for a time, and was given the form of a white sea-bird by Ulmo so that she might fly to her husband as he searched for a way to Valinor aboard his ship, Viingilot.  Since many of her descendants seem to be black-haired, like her mother, and her grand-daughter was said to be the very likeness of Lúthien, I figured it was likely that the traits were passed down in the family (especially since I can't recall that any description was given of either Dior or Nimloth).  I decided to give her rounded rather than pointed ears, as an indication of her heritage as the granddaughter of Beren.  Something of him had to have manifested in his descendants, after all.
