Aredhel Ar-Feiniel
The White Lady of Gondolin
Daughter of Fingolfin, Sister of Fingon and Turgon, Mother of Maeglin

And yet another "white lady." It seems as if just about every group in Tolkien's world had a White Lady, although the reason Aredhel got that nickname was the most explicitly stated: she wore nothing but white and silver. Although she lived in Gondolin with her brother Turgon, she was more restless of spirit and wanted to leave to go visit her cousins, specifically Fëanor's sons, with whom she had been friendly prior to the Noldorin revolt. Turgon didn't care for the idea, the risk that the location of his kingdom might be revealed, so when he finally gave in to his sister's demand to leave, he told the guard accompanying her that she should only go to visit their brother Fingon. Once outside Gondolin, Aredhel of course told the guard that she wasn't going to obey Turgon's command and set off on her own to visit her cousins. She was separated from her companions along the way, was captured by Eöl "the Dark Elf," (who apparently disliked sunlight, very odd for an Elf), and eventually (and not wholly unwillingly) married him. They had one child, Maeglin, who eventually persuaded Aredhel to return to Gondolin (largely because he'd realized that he could be Turgon's heir). Unfortunately, they were trailed by Eöl, who demanded the return of his son. When Maeglin refused to go with him, Eöl tried to kill him with a poisoned dart, but wound up killing Aredhel instead, who blocked the dart with her own body. Pity that, since Maeglin ultimately wound up bringing about the doom of Gondolin.

Aredhel had the dark hair of the Noldor, pale skin, and was tall. I've found that the off-the-shoulder gown with narrow sleeves and skirt tend to enhance the "height" illusion in the Sims, as does hair that is pulled away from the face and does not lie too broadly on the shoulders. I couldn't recall any specific eye color being mentioned for Aredhel, so I decided to stay with the generic Noldorin gray, as it suited the face and kept with the "silver" motif. My next plan is to complete Maeglin and Eol -- a couple of villainous types in the Fëanorian tradition.
